EXECUTIVE ICS AND EOC TRAINING COURSE

Second Day of the Executive Incident Command System (ICS) and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Training Course of the Municipality of Anda, Pangasinan.
The growing frequency and intensity of natural disasters
and calamities call for an efficient and coordinated disaster
response and management mechanism both at the national
and local levels to prevent the loss of lives and properties and
ensure the safety of our communities.
Recognizing the importance of coordination
and interoperability among concerned agencies in times
of disasters, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council of Anda, headed by Mayor Joganie Batangislajogz Rarang, in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), conducted tro-day Incident Command System, a standard, on-scene,
all-hazard incident management concept that can be used
by all DRRM Councils, emergency management and response
agencies. It is a useful tool that coordinates all the actions
and movements of different groups related to disaster risk
reduction.
