The Municipality of Anda, Pangasinan joins the celebration of the “500th Anniversary of Victory at Mactan” with the theme, “Victory and Humanity”. The said event commemorates the victorious battle of Mactan led by the hero Lapu-lapu against the Spanish inquisitors led by Ferdinand Magellan. The Philippine part in the first successful circumnavigation by sea is also celebrated.
